2023 IBL SCHEDULE RELEASED

The Kitchener Panthers are excited to announce the release of the full 2023 Intercounty Baseball League schedule.

The balanced IBL schedule will see the Panthers facing each opposing team 6 times for a total of 42 games, evenly split between home and away contests.

Opening day of the season will fall on Friday May 19th, as the Panthers travel to Brantford to take on the Red Sox for an 8:00 PM contest before a quick turnaround for game 2 on Saturday May 20th at 1:00 PM in Guelph for the Royals’ home opening festivities. Pitching depth will be tested early on as the Panthers will play a 3rd game in as many days as the Home Opener festivities in Kitchener will take place at 2:00 PM on Sunday May 21st as the Welland Jackfish visit Jack Couch Park.

The regular season will wrap up at home on Sunday August 20th as longtime rivals, Barrie Baycats, will make the trip down for an afternoon contest at 2:00 PM.

Fans can expect to see a revamped Kitchener Panthers lineup in action this season, featuring 4 import signings as well as a handful of Canadian players making their Kitchener Panthers debuts. Stay tuned in the near future for announcements on roster additions and player re-signings.
