SIGNING TRACKER: Dakota Parsons is back!

KITCHENER - The Kitchener Panthers have a starting pitcher returning to the bump.

Dakota Parsons started six games for Kitchener in 2024. In seven appearances overall, he recorded a 2-4 record, with a 5.87 ERA in 30.2 innings. 

He got 36 strikeouts to 23 walks, including a 10 strikeout performance against Guelph on June 23, 2024.

The former Durham College hurler was the fourth overall pick in the 2024 Frontier League draft to Trois-Rivieres, and went to Arizona's free agent showcase last year.

"Dakota has all of the makings of an impact pitcher for us," said general manager Shanif Hirani. 

"With his heavy fastball and high compete level, he will slot into our rotation nicely."
